*Branch Manager wanted for our Cambridge Office*

The company is seeking to solidify its positioning as a leading IFA offering wealth management services to new and existing private clients, professional intermediaries and trustees built around discretionary investment management.  In financial performance terms the expectations are that the Branch Manager will provide entrepreneurial leadership, revenue growth and recruitment of competant financial advisers, balanced by prudence with regard to cost management.  This is a role for a genuine “can do” people orientated person.  The ideal candidate will have experience of implementing high level T&C, working with and responding to MI, be comfortable working with professional connections and a proven business writer.  Diploma or above is essential.  The basic salary is £60,000 with OTE of circa. £100,000.  In the first instance please e-mail your CV confidentially to Malcolm Coury or call Malcolm on 01225 471100.

*Financial Advisers wanted for our Bournemouth, Cambridge and London Offices*

We would expect the successful candidate to be producing at least £150,000 fee income per annum (including recurring).  Diploma qualified or above is essential. Starting salary is dependant on professional qualifications, productivity record, persistency, attitude and experience but is typically between £40,000 and £60,000 per annum with OTE typically between £60,000 and £90,000.  We provide some leads from our database, marketing activities, professional connections and website enquiries but that could not be relied upon. Discretionary portfolio management
In conjunction with our chosen wrap platform we manage 5 risk rated discretionary investment portfolios that have consistently outperformed our piers and the relevant benchmarks.

Para-planning support
Help with the paperwork!  We provide para-planning support so that advisers can concentrate on dealing with clients' needs.  Our para-planners use comprehensive report writing templates to prepare suitability letters for the adviser to check, edit, personalise and sign off before distribution.  

Client database
We use 1st Software's 'Adviser Office' and this is fully maintained by our compliance and IT staff.  We take full advantage of the system's capabilities by using outside services, daily bulk downloads, Financial Express price fees, e-commissions and more.

Adviser intranet
Our advisers have access to our industry leading intranet. This provides access to the full company manual, training and competence scheme, suitability report templates, our business processes, discretionary and advisory portfolios and the full range of other documents and services available to you and for use with your clients.  Suitability reports are made client specific whilst still containing all the regulatory information required, saving advisers a lot of time and worry.

Industry exams
Help is available towards helping our advisers achieve higher qualifications, including study days, training, study material and examinations.  The aim is to achieve chartered or certified status (or both).

Reporting
We regularly provide our advisers with the following management information:
KPI's (quarterly)
Investment Updates (monthly and quarterly)
CPD record (half yearly)
Sales results and bulletins (weekly and monthly)
Performance measurement against targets and/or budgets (monthly)
1-2-1 review meetings (quarterly) 

Training
Observing initial client meetings for new starters
Money Laundering and complaints handling
Regular file reviews
Checklists to help ensure suitability of advice and completeness of file information

We are Authorised and Regulated by the FSA and our permitted business areas are:
Discretionary investment management
Advising and arranging investments (including non-investment insurance contracts, life policies & pension schemes)
Advising and arranging pension transfers
Advising and arranging Inheritance Tax mitigation schemes
Advising and arranging mortgage contracts

Regular bulletins and fact sheets
We provide you with regular bulletins and fact sheets on technical and regulatory matters
Quarterly fact sheets about our discretionary portfolios
Regular newsletters 

Portfolio valuations
We provide the ability for our investment clients to view their portfolios 'real-time' on-line 24/7, together with access to a clear and transparent cash audit trail, contract notes, consolidated tax vouchers and 6 monthly paper based valuations.
