Critical Illness

Providing financial security when the unexpected happens to you, your family, or a business colleague.  This protection pays a lump sum in the event of a critical illness, such as a heart attack or cancer.

People are often confused at what exactly the difference is between critical illness cover and private medical insurance (PMI). In short PMI only pays for the cost of medical treatment, whilst critical illness can provide a pre-determined lump sum, for example this could be used to pay off your mortgage if you were diagnosed with cancer, suffered a stroke or heart attack. It’s like having life insurance, but you benefit if you suffer a serious illness.
