Nick was appointed to head the investment committee at Money Wise in July 2011 to bring his expertise in managing client money to our investment process, and to help us improve client returns during a particularly volatile period. Nick has worked in the investment industry for Goldman Sachs, James Capel, Scrimgeour Vickers and was a founding member of TIR Securities, which was sold to E*Trade Financial. He also managed over $1 billion in his fund of funds group, Investor Select Advisors, which he sold in 2007. Nick is also a non executive director of Zurich Bank, and separately Dunbar Bank, both part of the Zurich Financial Services Group and a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and is an occasional speaker on risk at the University of Bath’s School of Management.
